Tiny House Regulations and Zoning Requirements in Connecticut

Connecticut has really not sat down to have a serious discussion about tiny homes.They exist purely in a gray zone, with no law specifically addressing them in most of the state.

In some places, tiny houses and even RVs are strictly forbidden in residentail areas.
Where tiny houses on wheels are allowed, there are strict regulations on residency and how much it can remain in the same location.

There is almost nothing specific about tiny houses on foundations.
Currently, there are no active proposals to change the regulations to make Connecticut tiny home-friendly.
