New Zealand Tiny House Expo 2021

Auckland – After the pandemic, New Zealand’s largest tiny house event is returning this year.

The Tiny House Expo will be held on Friday 29 and Saturday 30 October, at Auckland Showgrounds.

As the country’s largest event of this kind, the expo has attracted many notable speakers in the tiny living niche and the building and construction business. On Saturday, a conference running parallel to the expo will have Bryce Langston as the keynote speaker. Langston, who happens to be Kiwi, is the biggest name on YouTube when it comes to tiny houses. His channel, Living Big in a Tiny House, boasts of over 4.1 million subscribers.

By comparison, HGTV, the US channel that runs several tiny house shows only has 400,000 subscribers.

Langston travels around the world meeting and interviewing tiny home owners and dwellers. He will be joined on stage by several other speakers sharing their journeys living in tiny homes.

In addition, there will be over 100 exhibitors, and over 35 tiny houses on display.

There will also be an awards ceremony to recognize notable people in this space.

With over 10,000 people expected to attend, the tiny house expo has surely come a long way. When it started in 2017, roughly 70 people attended.
